500 yen parking fee can be redeemed by shopping at souvenir store. The view at the lookout is amazing. I didn’t buy the ticket for down to the cave so no comments about it.

The place is very well maintained. There is lift which will take you downstairs to the core of the cave. The cave is very old and there is one temple inside it which is having idol of many deities along with a big idol of God of Water. Looking at the waves from the narrow lanes of cave is stunning. There is a photo point above the ground outside the gate of cave entrance. You will get beautiful pictures over there. The amount of 1500 yen per ticket is although high but still it is worth visiting.

Beautiful and unique! One of the more expensive attractions in Japan - 1500¥ per adult as of Dec 2023. I guess that’s to cover the cost of the lift maintenance. Not a very big cave, takes not more than 30-40 minutes to finish the tour.

The Mog Champ sends his regards. After checking out the cliffs from above, I decided to come visit the caves. Going down the elevator to the caves were interesting, must've been difficult building that back then! Once you arrive at the caves down there, you could feel the temperature drop so much compared to when you're back upstairs, I spent around a good 30 mins walking around the cave downstairs before I came back up. It was a pretty good experience overall, but you don't need to spend that much time here. Thanks for the cave experience Sandanbeki! Mogliest Regards, Your Mog Champ

Small cave which was accessed via a lift. Entry cost Y1,500. Overpriced. The cave was small but nice and colourful, created by the ocean waves and the mineral content. Cliffs above in the area were free but not anything special.
