I gave up at the first waterfall lol My thighs hurt on the way up the stairs to the second step.orz If you can go to Kamikura Shrine in Shingu City or Mt. Horaiji in Aichi, you'll be fine!

The first waterfall is nice. There's a shrine in a rock cave next to it, and the basin of the waterfall seems deep, giving the impression that even the river's owner might live there. However, the promenade leading to Ichi-no-taki has some steep stairs that are very narrow to put your feet on. I didn't really want to touch it, but the handrail caught me.

It was wonderful. However, please be careful if you are unable to bring children. Even when I was still young, I bounced around on the stairs and almost slipped. You will have to climb nearly 90 degrees of stairs for about 15 minutes to get there.

It wasn't a place I would go on a solo trip. There was a huge traffic jam waiting in the parking lot and a crowd of people in front of the waterfall, making it difficult to calm down at all. In the parking lot, everyone was parking their cars in whatever direction they wanted, and it was almost impossible to get through, so it was very stressful.

I went there on July 25th, and it was cool and pleasant to walk along the riverside. You can stay cool for a long time. The beautiful flow of the river and the growth of moss are also amazing. The up and down stairs along the way are a bit steep and sloped. The width to put your feet on is quite narrow, so you have to walk sideways when getting off lol. It is best to always hold the handrail with both hands when climbing down. My wife almost fell to the bottom. Athletic shoes and long pants are required. The waterfall is cool and has a nice atmosphere.
