Okiku Well

Was a fantastic and interesting experience. Don’t make the mistake I made of not buying the garden + Himeji ticket. It’s more worthwhile.

Okiku Ido is one of the most well-known wells that features in the ghost story called "Banshu Sarayashiki." It is said this was the well where the body of Okiku were thrown out and voice of Okiku to count plates were heard.

The field is one of the spots to view the majestic Hineji castle, right after you walk pass the gate. And you do have to view this grand castle from different view points to get the sense of its brilliance.

I loved it but i saw a girl in the well so i rated it 1 star

A very tragic well. This small well is historical and is worth checking out. Some tourists drop coins in it and wish for something.
