Shiraito Falls

It's a beautiful waterfall, neither too small nor too large. Visiting during the summer (July 2024), the air around the waterfall is very cool and pleasant. There's a parking lot close to the waterfall, costing 500 yen. If you go a bit further (200-300 meters), there's another parking area for 300 yen. Near the parking area, there are restrooms and a convenience store. Looking into the distance, you can also see Mount Fuji

Amazing curtain style falls, definitely worth a stop and look, especially if it is a cloudy day in Mt Fuji area. Very short walk down, only 5 minutes or so and you are immersed in the gorge and falls. The volume of water coming over the cliffs from all sides is impressive. We visited on a rainy cloudy day so missed out on the Mt Fuji views but this was a good option on a day with no visibility. Combined parking and entry was ¥500, and there is a range of shops and cafes inside also.

Beautiful!! Took the bus from Fujinomiya station, which took around 30ish minutes and cost ¥710 one way. Also there's a cute little shopping area just before you go to the waterfall that's really nice. Souvenirs and restaurants.

It was great to walk around this area, the mist from the falls was very refreshing on such a hot day. It also had a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji

We visited this 5-11-2024 perfect weather to enjoy both the beautiful Mount Fuji and beautiful waterfalls. Just be ready to go down and up to the stairs. It's worth it !
