An interesting and beautiful rock formation. It was worth stopping by on our way to Ise.

The weather was perfect that day, and the colors of the sky and sea were spectacular. The rock in the shape of a lion was very impressive, so I stopped my car at a cafe called Tombo and had an iced coffee, and then the owner took a photo with the lion in the background😄He was very friendly. The owner is a woman, and the store's exterior and interior have a Showa retro feel.My husband and I were both born in the Showa era, so we had a really good time, feeling nostalgic and feeling like we had traveled back in time to the Showa era. I am grateful for the good memories of the trip ☺️

I went sightseeing the day after the Kumano fireworks festival! It really looks like a lion and it's amazing! ! The rocks were amazing, but I was surprised at how beautiful the ocean was behind me! ! By the way, were there any fireworks going off around this rock?

Regardless of whether it looks like a lion or not, it is a place where you can encounter strangely shaped rocks created by nature. Seeing it from the observation deck gave me a different impression than seeing it from the beach. There is also a coffee shop ☕ on the observation deck, so I think it's a good idea to take a leisurely look there.
