This is a cave located in the Shobu area of the former Tosayama Village in Kochi City. You can go by taking Prefectural Route 33 from Kochi City's Kuishiyama Line or by taking the route from Nankoku City's Naji area. The parking lot can accommodate up to 10 cars. Even in the summer, you can feel the coolness of the summer with the cool air from inside the cave and the cold water of the Kagami River.

It is a wonderful wind cave that gets cold even in summer. As you can see in the photo, it is normally off-limits and you cannot go inside. In the summer, there are a lot of mosquitoes, so we recommend long sleeves and long pants to protect you from the cold. There is a plaza across the street from the nearby shrine (Hakusan Shrine along Prefectural Route 33), so you can park there. To get to the cave, cross the bridge from Route 33 and follow the white arrow.

I went there in the heatwave A cold wind blows from the cave The flowing water was ridiculously cold. It's as cold as melting snow It's not that high in altitude It's strange. Apparently you can enter the cave if you make a reservation.

From the parking lot, walk a little. You can't go inside, but you can see the entrance. It's a good idea to wear rain boots in case you get wet. To get closer to the entrance, you have to cross a shallow river. The river flowing from the entrance is crystal clear. Even in the summer, the wind blows coldly.

I couldn't see the white arrow pointing to the left, so I went straight up the mountain road. I was able to go back to Shobu Cave. Too bad I couldn't go inside. But I was impressed by how clean the water came out from inside! !
