[Visited on September 16, 2024] To visit Kifune Shrine main shrine, Climb the lantern stairs. Although it is a beautiful stone staircase, It is better to visit with comfortable shoes. At the foot of the lantern, The pink flowers of Shukaido, It was in full bloom.

Visited in December 2018 and February 2023. One of the famous representative attractions of Kibune Shrine. It is really difficult to take a picture of no one at this spot. I had to squat here for a long time before taking the picture. I advise everyone to be civilized when going there and know that there are people. If you are waiting to take a photo of the stairs with no one around, don’t stay on the stairs for too long. When I visited on the afternoon of February 6, 2023, a Taiwanese girl and her boyfriend were taking pictures slowly on the stairs, completely ignoring the several people under the stairs. A Japanese person was waiting for them. After waiting for almost 20 minutes, they were still filming. I told the girl that there were many people waiting for them. As soon as the girl heard my voice, she ran up without looking back. The Japanese at the bottom of the stairs applauded loudly when they saw this. As a Taiwanese, I felt really embarrassed for this couple.

Judging from the crowds on weekdays, if you want to take pictures of maple leaves or snowy lanterns, you probably have to stay there and turn off the lights before coming to take pictures. If you want to take morning photos, it is recommended to bring a light-reducing filter and a tripod.

The smoke stings my eyes, but a winter bonfire is nice. It reminds me of my childhood. I would like to come someday during the Kawadoko season.

This is the scene at 7:30 in the morning at the end of November. Visitors to the shrine can be seen here and there.
