Came here for the Nike Event! So much fun! 🤩 Only downside was it was soooo stuffy and hot inside! Where’s the AC?! 🥵

The building originally operated as a cabaret, karaoke bar, and izakaya until 2020. Nowadays, it is mainly used at art events. This time, the presentation of the new NIKE AIR MAX was held, so I stopped by. The building was completed in 1964, and after the tenants moved out, the interior was dismantled and used as an exhibition venue, so the exposed structure gives it a decadent feel and a very nice atmosphere. I would like to visit this building again and enjoy it as it will continue to be used for various events.

This building has been in Kabukicho since 1964. It was once used as a cabaret, coffee shop, and restaurant, but is now used as an event space.

I was reminded of what I saw in my encounter with the road. This area is said to be a culvert where there used to be a river called Kanikawa. It is said that the bronze statue of Benten was made because a lot of snakes appeared during construction work on the land.
