Very interesting Science museum in Nagoya! The building where the museum is located is really beautiful! When we got there we had to queue for around 10 mins for the tickets which are cheap if you are only doing the museum. You can buy extra exhibitions separately which I believe is a great idea. At the time of our visit it was a Sunday so it was pretty packed! There are many floors divided by topics and there are interactive experiments which are great for both kids and adults. Overall we ended up spending almost 2 hours and I feel I would recommend visiting it if you are in Nagoya and you are interested in science!

I highly recommend reserving your tickets online and booking your seats for the planetarium online. When we arrived there was a very long line inside and we bought our tickets online and then skipped the line right there. When we left at 2:00 p.m. there was still a really long line at the front. This museum is absolutely amazing. It's very interactive and Hands-On. We are adults and only speak English but we still had so much fun and learned a lot. The planetarium show was also only in Japanese, but if you've been to a planetarium show before you can kind of understand what's going on and it's still really interesting. There's a cafe and it has pretty good food and the wait isn't too bad. There's a parking lot across the block for parking but sometimes that can fill up and it is a little pricey but still worth it.

It is a fantastic museum, not only for kids but also for adults. Unfortunately, we didn't get the planetarium ticket when we visited because it was sold out, so it's better to reserve it through online ticketing. However, the overall museum is incredible, with many direct hands-on experiences. Moreover, we could see the special exhibition about poison, which was our son’s theme interest—highly recommended to visit, especially with children.

This is a really varied and dynamic museum, with lots of interactive exhibitions, informative signs to read and a really, really amazing planetarium. It can be quite busy on the day, so it's best to get tickets in advance lest you end up waiting in a very long line on a hot day! The central location is very nice though, which makes it easy to get to. There's something here for everyone, whether you are a child, adult or a just interested in science in general!

For kids: 5⭐!! The exterior architecture is fantastic! And the wonderful fountain along side the museum in the park is a bonus. Overall, the museum displays are elementary with a few being mind expanding. Though for kids , it must be a blast. The Fluid Magnetic Field showcase (keep your phone...and pacemaker away) on the upper floor was worth the price of admission...for this non-kid kid.
