💰Admission free! Another old samurai residence in Nagamachi owned by Takada family. It has a decent-sized traditional Japanese strolling garden with trees and a cute little stream. It’s a nice resting spot if you’re tired from walking around the neighborhood. There’s no trash bins but the entire place is kept super clean!

It's the middle class Samurai house. It's worth a quick visit to see what it would look like.

Only stables, garden and gate but very great to see with some good information on Maeda's Samurai Vassals & Retainer Organisation

For a free attraction, this is excellent. There is a guide available in several languages that gives the history of samurai at this medium level of prestige. There is a lovely garden, along with the living quarters of the workers in a samurai's house, and a horse stable. This isn't worth a special trip, but if you're in the neighborhood, definitely stop by and spend a few minutes!

It’s not really a family house but stables and guards room. There is a print out with interesting info about the life of samurai
