Really well maintained, vibrant dahlias. The season is from late-Sept to 1st week Nov, weather-dependent. We went on an overcast day and it was very pleasant and beautiful. There are a lot of dahlias in many sections. Adults are ¥500 admissions. Elementary and younger children free-entry.

Very remote but very rewarding and well worth the effort for those willing to make it. The sheer number of varieties is overwhelming.

I didn't know there were so many types of dahlias. From the large and gorgeous ones like peonies to the cute ones with bonbon blooms, are these also dahlias? I also enjoyed the unusual flowers. It's a bit inconvenient to get to by train and bus, as there aren't many trains, but all 4 of us, including my companion, were glad we went to see it. I bought some cut flowers on the way home and was able to bring them home in good spirits. For your reference, this year's timetable

September 21st I think things will get even better from now on. There is plenty of parking space first thing in the morning. There aren't that many people, so you can take your time watching. I think it's still going to get bigger, but it's beautiful enough. You can enjoy it for 500 yen. The ground can be quite muddy after the rain, so be careful with your footwear.

You can see an overwhelming number of dahlias. The blue sky and colorful dahlias stand out. The best time to see them is from mid-October to early November. When the dahlias are blooming, there are stalls, You can purchase snacks and souvenirs. There are discount tickets available for admission to Mimine Shrine etc. I think it would be a good idea to take your time and look around the area, including Mitsumine Shrine. Mitsumine Shrine causes parking lot congestion from around noon. We recommend visiting Mitsumine Shrine and then the dahlia garden. I think it's safe to take photos around noon since there's no backlight.
