I have seen autumn plants in Japan. Hitachi Seaside Park is one hour from Tokyo by highway. It was a fantastic sight. Prices in Japan are very cheap now, so there were many people from Asia like me.

The time I went was when the kochia trees were red. It was a very pleasant experience to be watching the sky and those trees contrasting each other. There's also cosmos and pampasgrass blooming. Please refer to the flower calendar to know the flower season.

visited in the middle of August during sunflower season. The fields of sunflowers looked absolutely amazing. Plus there was a light show held in the evening over the hills of kochia.

We went on a Sunday to the park. There's a ticket station at Katsuta Station selling bus and entrance tickets during flower season. It's very convinient! We were impressed how beautiful the hill was. Many locals visited it, but the paths along the hills are well planned and there's always some place to take photos. It was a little bit windy on top of the hill.

Very well maintained nemophila flowers on Miharashi Hill, looks beautifully blue just like competing with the blue sky. This blue blend can be seen during the month of April and may. Although we could not witness 120 species of roses but one could enjoy this may be by the end of may month. Avoid visiting during June and July months, since there are not many flowers because of the scorching summer.
