Located next to the Hiroshima Castle. The Ruins of Hiroshima Imperial Army Headquarters is one of the historical military ruins that has been preserved well for people to remember what happened.

Inside castle park. Interesting to see both the foundations and how small these buildings are. Interesting history and informative plaques around the ruins.

This isn't really something to see and say "wow!", so much as it is a place to see and feel the effects of nuclear warfare. One can only imagine how this place looked before it was wiped off the face of the earth.

Not crowded. Lots of photo opportunities.

Remains of the old military administrative buildings. It's an open park to the public. I'd love to bring a picnic on a day to the castle and sit outside to eat. (it rained when I was there) Loved it!
