An amazing experience and truly breathtaking views! I would definitely come back again if I had the opportunity to do so. The gorge is a strip of area that’s in the lower section within the mountains, so there are more than one viewpoint to check out if you like the views. I found both the trail and bridges to have fantastic views of the area. Parking is not free and we had to walk to get to the gorge. It took us about 15-20 minutes to get to the boat area specifically. If you want to go on the boats, you need to reserve tickets online as they don’t take walk-ins. I would definitely recommend visitors to dress for hiking as there was quite a bit of stairs and physical activities required to see the best views of the gorge.

Cool nature spot. Would've loved to go to do the boats. Nice cafe and chill hikes in the area. Facilities in the area are good and very pleasant to visit. Overall area is a bit small. But there is plenty to do and see for a short while.

Lovely area with amazing scenery. Unfortunately the boat rides were cancelled due to heavy rain, but this was wise as the water was flowing very fast! It's a beautiful spot! Definitely recommend visiting! Tip - go again after dark to enjoy the illuminations.

Famous natural Gorge in Takachiho. Please book the boat rental from 2 weeks before your visit plan. Missed the reservation and i only can watch others. Its really awesome especially go through under the falls. If you want to do it, make sure you bring full set clothes. Haha A lot of small restaurant and souvenir store. But very crowded and somehow more expensive than KamishikiKumanoza Shrine

The waterfall itself is beautiful; however there was not really much to do as I imagined, unless you are able to purchase one of those boat tickets (which sold out quite fast cause there are only 60 quotas). We arrived on a weekday afternoon and the weather was quite hot. We drove almost 2 hours to get here and only spent like an hour before we left.
