When I visited Takatsu Shrine, I was struck by how beautiful the uphill slope was, and it turned out to be a historic spot called Aiaizaka. It is said that the current style was created in the latter half of the Meiji period through the dedication and donations of land by parishioners. When viewed horizontally from the side, it looks like a large isosceles triangle, and it is said that if a man and a woman start climbing their respective slopes at the same time and meet just at the top, they will have a good match. There are many other things to see at Takatsu Shrine, but it might be fun to climb this gentle slope with someone during the cherry blossom festival season.

It is a stone-stepped slope that climbs from the north and south and joins at the top.It is said that if a man and a woman meet perfectly at the top at the same time from both sides, they will be compatible. The name of the slope was derived from the land dedicated to parishioners in the late Meiji period. .
