THE original landscape of Japan “Sawadaira Rice Terraces” A hidden spot that can be called an oasis for the Japanese soul Just forget about time and just do it. I learned about its existence for the first time while traveling to Yamagata. Asahi Town is famous for its wine. Satoyama spreads out along the mountains across the Mogami River Mogami River muddy brown The continuous rain adds to the atmosphere. An amazing view spot that can be opened by climbing the mountainside Coupled with rice planting season Just one word, "beautiful" Somehow I feel like singing a haiku poem Japan has four seasons, so you can feel the sensibility that comes with it. There is something interesting about the scenery that changes with the seasons. I felt that rice terraces are the very “heart” of the Japanese people.

You can enjoy the spectacular rice terraces for free! 🤣 It's a bit of a walk to get to the observation deck, so I recommend wearing comfortable shoes!

It was sunny today so I went there for the first time and it was so beautiful that I wanted to see it forever. Be careful as the road to get there may be narrow.

It was a very beautiful rice terrace. Unlike the round, pond-like rice terraces that we often see, the beauty of the rice terraces themselves is not so much the beauty of the Japanese countryside, but rather the beautiful scenery of an orderly series of square rice terraces lined up like tile art.
