Honestly, super amazing. It's magnificent to see such a long structure knowing that it was built without modern machines. And it's beautiful. The pillars move in waves and create intricate corridors. Definitely worth seeing, and if you're up for a hike, go to the top where it's less busy and can take better pictures.

This place is magnificent! Despite the enormous crowd of people visiting it remains for me one the most beautiful spots in Kyoto! Visiting the area is completely free and when we were there there was a ceremony where the monks were praying and there were two playing instruments! I would say don't be demoralized by the crown and continue to follow the red colors of the Torii. The more you climb the less people you will find. The whole area is huge and it climbs till the top of the mountain! Definitely recommend going up even though the humidity might slow you down a bit. Carry with you some water!

Fushimi Inari Taisha is an amazing place to visit in Kyoto! The thousands of bright red torii gates are absolutely breathtaking as you walk through them. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the hike up the mountain offers beautiful views along the way. It can get a bit crowded near the entrance, but as you go further up, it becomes quieter. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes because it's a long walk, but it's worth it. The shrine and its surroundings are stunning, and the experience is unforgettable. Highly recommended!

It is such a beautiful shrine and if you are a spiritual person, this is a must visit in Kyoto. I recommend going early in the morning between 7-10 am because after that it gets full of tourists that are there for the pictures. It is a sacred area and should be treated as such so please be mindful

One of the must-sees when you’re in Kyoto! Crowded as always especially on weekends, but the day I visited was filled with so much life. There was a live martial arts display as well as a procession going on. Would highly recommend making the climb up to the summit of Mt Inari, the way there is absolutely peaceful and tranquil despite the crowds. Bottom half of the hike is filled with holiday walkers and hikers, lots of stopping along waiting for people to take their pictures. Skip all that, make sure you get to the top half and see for yourself the true beauty of this place. No crowds, no noise. It’s just you and the mountain.
