Beautiful bridge. Definitely visit while at the shrine and heritage site. We took photos from outside the space because it was closed but when it’s open you can pay 300¥ to cross the bridge but you can’t go all the way across as it’s blocked on one side. Still a cute little spot for photos. I’d bet in autumn, the leaves changing color makes it even more gorgeous. During the summer, it is a verdant color and lots of dragonflies are wandering around the area. We also saw an adorable orange Japanese weasel across from the bridge, almost the same color, so keep an eye out for those. They’re so cute.

Near the entrance to the shrines and temples area, this iconic red bridge is a great spot for photos and a quick visit. ⚠️Be aware that a toll of ¥300 (~ $2) needs to be paid in order to cross the bridge. Cash only

This bridge is not for free but worth the penny. Crystal clear water and the dense forest gives you the vibes.

Although you have to pay to climb it, I believe it is worth it, as it provides a different view of the place as well as being able to appreciate the beauty of the bridge up close.
