Omorishiroyama Park

Today, I went to [Omori Shiroyama Park], the spot for the Fukushima Flower Corridor Digital Rally. Walking among the trees 🌲 felt very pleasant and there were many beautiful flowers 🌷 blooming. For the first time, I was able to climb the observation tower and enjoy the view of Fukushima city. There was also a playground equipment in the park, and there were many people having picnics. I would like to visit again in autumn ⭐️

2024.4.11 (Thu) There are so many cherry blossoms that it looks like the sea. The park is very large, so you can take a leisurely stroll. There is a turret, and when you climb it, you can see the cherry blossoms and the entire Fukushima city. Of course, the view is great even if you don't climb the turret. The road to the park is one-way, going up from the Shinobu Junior High School side. The road is narrow, so it's nice to have one-way going up and down.

Saturday, April 13th, R6 was the best time to see the flowers.As you drive towards Shiroyama, you will see a mountain that looks like a pink pudding! (I couldn't take a photo while driving💧) It's a very cute mountain, and it looks great even from a distance. There is a parking lot when you go up from the foot of Nobuo Junior High School. However, it's not that big, so if you want to have a relaxing lunch, you might want to arrive before 10:30. I arrived around that time, but there were several cars waiting in the parking lot, so I thought I'd go in when it became available. Wait for about 5 minutes, stop, and go see the cherry blossoms♪ As the introduction says, there are 700 cherry blossoms, and there were countless cherry blossoms in full bloom🌸The view from the observation deck at the very back of Shiroyama Park is spectacular. The daily fatigue flies away! There were several food stalls, and shaved ice was selling well on a 24℃ day.

Visiting the cherry blossoms at night. I felt like it would be nice to have a little more light. Still, the cherry blossom trees were magnificent and very beautiful. It's a spacious place, so I think it's nice to take a leisurely walk. There is also a playground, so it seems that many people bring their children with them during the day.

This is the ruins of Omori Castle. There are cherry blossoms here, so many people come to see them in spring. The road to the mountain is one-way, and the road is narrow, but it's okay because you won't pass each other. The parking lot is not very large, so it can get full during the cherry blossom viewing season.
