The color of the water will be beautiful with the sunlight. The atmosphere is really calming, surrounded by the high trees. There is a small temple in the edge of the lake made this place feel more sacred. It's a bit difficult to find because there is no big sign in the road. But if you follow the google maps, you'll find it. Good place to visit!

Come in a sunny day at 10:00-14:00. The turquoise but crystal clear colour of the pond is glittering. It’s a small place and has a calming atmosphere. But, there are not many photographic subjects. It is not worth a visit itself. And, it is not easy to find. You have to drive there and park in the open space in front of a salmon hatchery. Facing the hatchery, walk to the right along the path, see the sign 丸池樣 and cross a little bridge, turn left and walk up the path a bit and you will see the pond on your left. It’s just a few minutes walk. Parking is free. Note: Remember to keep the water clean ~ so please don’t touch the water!

Accredited to be one of the best quality water in Japan. No wonder there is a salmon field nearby. If the sunlight is right, the water shows Tiffany blue!

Looks better in person. Plenty of parking and very very short walk from the car to the pond.

A nice area, crystal clear streams. In very early spring the pond's water was blue, which was nice. If you're not far, it's worth a look, but (at least at the time of year we went) it's not anything overly amazing.
