The site of the Kuwana side of Shichiri no Watari. There is a torii gate, but there are no special buildings. There is a parking lot and tourist information center nearby, so you can park your car there and walk there.

Kuwana's "Shichiri no Watari" is located on the banks of the majestic Ibi River, and is greeted by the largest torii gate and pine trees in Ise Province. It is called ``Shichiri no Watashi'' because it took a boat seven miles from Atsuta/Miya no Watashi to Kuwana no Watashi. This large torii gate is said to be the first torii gate because it is where you enter the Iseji route, and it is said to be rebuilt every time the Ise Grand Shrine is relocated. Attractions such as Kyuka Park, Honda Tadakatsu Statue, and Rokkaen Garden are within walking distance, making it a great place to take a walk along the riverbank in the refreshing breeze.

The Kuwana side of the "Shichiri no Watari" between Uchimiya and Kuwana on the old Tokaido. It is located in Kuwana City, facing the Ibi River, and the Kuwana Castle ruins are nearby. Unlike the shrine side, it gives a small impression. There is a large torii gate called the Daiichi Torii on the premises, which lets you know that this is the entrance to the country of Ise on the old Tokaido.

It is within walking distance from Kuwana Castle Ruins. The only sea route that connects Kuwana, the 42nd post station on the Tokaido, with the 41st post. The remains of the ferry served as a transportation hub for the region. The big torii gate is the landmark.

Close to Funatsuya, a high-class inn along the Tokaido. It is well maintained and managed. It is called the ``Shichiri no Watari'' because there was a sea route of 7 miles (approximately 27.5 km) from Atsuta to Kuwana. It is said that it was very popular as the 42nd post town on the 53 stations of the Tokaido. The large torii gate erected here is called ``the best torii gate in Ise country'' because you can enter the Iseji route from here. Two night lights have also been erected.
