The buildings, houses and roads leading to this District were beautiful. But after I got here, I wasn’t sure what I was looking at. There were not many people out on the street (it was around 19:30 pm). I guess I was expecting a busier street. It was a nice walk, regardless.

Had a spare hour and were pass by so thought we would visit. It is a very quiet area with not many attractions. There was a ninja museum which we did not visit but did see the shop. Quaint original properties . If you are limited for time I would not recommend to visit unless you have a specific attraction or tour in mind .

The district is actually quite small. There is mostly one street with old houses. However there is a lot of temples in this area and you can walk along the river too. So you can have a nice stroll there.

Small place with the traditional house. Not much to see, but the souvenir shop/Ninja museum a good place to visit. 😊

Pleasant spot to explore and see old Japanese building as well as the geisha management office (not accessible). While there make sure to visit the Ninja Museum
