If you park your car in the parking lot, cross the road and climb the stairs, you will arrive at the observation deck with a beautiful view! Although it is rich in nature, it is difficult to know where it is without a guide board, but it is a nice and quiet place. Just go on the Kunekune mountain road until you go!

I went after work, so I arrived around 6:30pm. It feels a little chilly due to the altitude. The observation deck is a little small, but the parking lot is wide and easy to park. The scenery is beautiful and the sounds of birds chirping and trees are soothing. There are also vending machines and toilets, which is convenient. The road to get there is full of elevation changes and winding roads, making the drive itself enjoyable.

The outlook is good. There was a vending machine, which was helpful for quenching your thirst. But there's nothing else so there's a shop? It's a shame that places like this are closed 😢

I stopped by for a break from walking my bike. Although the cliffside cafe was closed for the winter, it was no problem as a rest stop as there were vending machines and restrooms. The coffee I drank while looking at the mountain range was delicious.

I went there because I heard it was a place where I could take pictures of a sea of clouds with my car. I was lucky to see a sea of clouds on my first visit. however! According to someone who seems to be a sea of clouds photography expert, photographers gather in large numbers during the season and compete for space, and in extreme cases, even shouting matches occur. I was shocked to hear that something like this is happening in a place that doesn't appear in beautiful photographs. It's a spectacular view, so let's all get along.
