New Wakanoura Sightseeing Promenade

A very quiet path and well maintained. Rarely anyone will hike here as it's not on the google map. Highly recommended to hike down from the observatory.

Last year I went fishing and this year I went beachcombing. I parked my car in the Otto Square parking lot and it was about a 3-4 minute walk to the lighthouse. (Parking fee is 600 yen in summer, 400 yen at other times) There is a beautiful scenery (^^) There are no steep spots, so I think kids can enjoy it too.

This is a promenade from Wakaura Fishing Port to Tanoura Fishing Port. There are sandy beaches and rocky areas along the way, which can be enjoyed by both children and adults. I would like to go to the nearby Wakaura Shokudo once.

You can take a stroll along the well-maintained promenade along the coast. You can also access the sandy beach and rocky area from the promenade. I think it's safe even for children. Barbecues are prohibited on the sandy beach. It's a shame that there were people who ignored it.
