It took about 1.5 to 2 hours from Tokei-in. Unfortunately, it was difficult to see the scenery due to the yellow sand.

I climbed from the castle entrance on the Nishigaya side. The complete trekking course takes about 30 minutes by slowly climbing up to the Uchinomaki junction where the trail turns steeply, and from there it takes about 20 minutes along the ridge to reach the Honmaru. Please be careful if your feet are not suitable for trekking as you may get injured. The view from the main enclosure is spectacular, so do your best to climb up.

I climbed from the Nishigaya exit. I read that it took 40 minutes to climb, so I wondered how long it would take, but it was really, really hard. As expected, I couldn't climb all at once, so I took breaks and climbed for 60 minutes. The slope is steep at first, and even when you reach the ridge, it's a long and bumpy climb. The image is about 1.7 times the size of Hachioji Castle. Honkaku? It is open, there is a stone monument, trees have been cut down, and the view is outstanding. (In a sense, if you're going for a mountain castle, the scenery doesn't matter either way, but it's still a blessing.) The ruins are not very clear from the Nishigaya exit. Is it a bit of a curve or what? ! It's like watching the prosperity of the Imagawa clan, a member of the Northern Court, from a distance. You can also see the entirety of Shikiyama Castle below.

2021/06/05 I met a rare snake! 〈Tokei-in Course〉 Tokei-in → Suginoyama → Abe Castle Ruins → Tokei-in with a piston Course time: 2 hours 10 minutes (not including breaks) Ripe plums are being harvested in the beautiful fresh green plum garden of Tokei-in Temple, and the trailhead is in front of the bell tower. From here, the stone Buddha will guide you along the mountain path. The stone Buddha statues numbered 1 to 33 are enshrined on the gentle course. There is a steep climbing course straight ahead that interrupts the ninety-nine courses. After passing the 33rd stone Buddha and the second steel tower, you will see a lot of cedar trees. There are ropes attached to places where the slope is steep. After descending and climbing back up again, we arrived at today's peak, Abe Castle Ruins. The view from the castle ruins is spectacular, with the Abe River and Shizuoka's downtown buildings, Konmori and Mt. On the way home after enjoying the scenery, I noticed a large pink earthworm. I thought it was a snake? It is still a young snake, about 20 centimeters long, and its slender shape without a constriction is the first I've seen of it. When I got down the mountain and looked into it, I found a rare snake called "Jimguli". It was a very lucky hike.

From Tokei-in Temple, we climbed towards Nishigaya. I was with my 4-year-old son, and the trip took 1.5 hours (with breaks every 15 minutes) and 40 minutes on the way back. There are some steep slopes, but there are ropes so even children can climb them.
