When Ninigi no Mikoto landed in this area, he learned that there was no water in this area. This is the place where it is said that Ame no Murakumo no Mikoto once again ascended to Takamagahara and transferred the water species. Spring water gushes out from the roots of the keyaki tree, which is said to be over 3,000 years old. It's a mysterious sight, and it's no wonder that it's still considered sacred water. There is no parking lot, but there is a space where you can park for a short period of time.

24.04 I stopped by after visiting the shrine. Under construction, it looks a bit... You can't see or understand that the spring water is coming from the bottom. A lot of turtles are swimming. There was a funnel and a ladle so I could draw water...but for drinking...hmm 😅 However, the sound of the flowing river, the lively moss, and the fresh greenery of the trees were great.

It is said that when Ninigi no Mikoto descended, there was no water in this area, and Ame no Murakumo no Mikoto ascended to Takamagahara again and transferred water seeds to this place. Masu. There was a parking lot that could park several cars right next to it, but you can also get there in a few minutes from the nearby Kushifuru Shrine parking lot. There is a mythical historical site "Night Cry Stone" a few dozen meters away.

It is said to be a tourist destination for Takachiho Shrine and Kurufuru Shrine. A large zelkova tree juts out to the side. It's more amazing than the protruding cedar tree at Hachiman Shrine in Shimotsuke. I'm glad I had the support of other people.
