The final rest stop before climbing Misaka Pass, the restrooms are clean and well maintained. This is my 4th walking pilgrimage, and I have passed it 4 times. None of them were there when they were open. However, I always go there in winter and on Saturdays and Sundays (lol, it seems that it is open on Saturdays and Sundays other than winter. 2023)

I was able to meet the hina dolls of Kyoho. I also met a young man who was cycling around Japan. I was also touched by the warmth and humanity of the hospitality. Thank you very much for your wonderful time.

I visited on October 2, 2022 on my bicycle pilgrimage. This pilgrimage inn was built between the end of the Meiji period and the beginning of the Taisho period. It is located at the foot of Misaka Pass, a difficult point on the Tosa Highway, and was a popular place for rest and lodging until the early Showa era. Currently, it is used as a reception center where local residents and pilgrims can interact. It seems that they have been closed for a long time due to the influence of the new coronavirus, but they have resumed entertaining customers from this day. We were welcomed with cold tea and sweets.

A pilgrimage service run by local volunteers only on Saturdays and Sundays. You can sit and take a break, and tea and snacks are also provided. There is also a simple toilet. Above all, it is a place where the person being entertained can feel soothed. It is closed in winter.
