There are many options: 1: Round trip with castle entrance-1040yen 2: Round trip - 540yen 3: one-way trip - 270yen I choose the 3option since I want to stroll down and it does not take long to walk down maybe around 10mins. There is option for cable car or rope chair. I chose the rope chair since I want to try it. No safety belt so you are literally sitting on a chair that is moving above the ground. It is not that high, but if you are afraid of heights then maybe cable car will be better or best walk up the slope. It was nice experience since it was my first time. If you are lazy to walk down, take the round trip. You can take different one to come down. The option is open since the price is the same for both.

Beautiful Castle, I went to osaka, odawara and many more, this is the most beautiful castle in all,(maybe because I came in Sakura season). Shoes off inside of the castle, they have slippers, WEAR THEM, the wooden floor could be hurting in some area. the stair are very steep, some parts only can fit 1 person, also has free armors to put on ,and guns and katana you can use on for photo (other castle can easily cost 1000 yen)

Originally I was going to ride the cable car instead of the chair lift, because I thought the chair lift would be scary. But since I missed the cable car and didn’t want to wait another 10 minutes, I just decided to try the chair lift. It was really fun!! It wasn’t scary at all and felt safe. But I would only recommend it for able-bodied adults and teens. I don’t think it is safe to let children ride, although I did see some. From the top to the lift, you still have to walk up some way to reach the castle.

I love the lift! Even though there’s no safety belts it is really exciting to sit there and enjoy the view! And it should be safe if you just sit still.

A must go. The chair is not suitable for kids. It's like a chair with no belt or any safety harness. A great experience. They close at 4.30pm. So do go before that. But from the top station you still have to hike to the castle. Its just halfway.
