I went to Togichi and happened to find this place as it was really close to the main station. I expected to see more but the start of the promenade was a bit dirty which is unfortunate to be such a nice looking place on the photos I saw online but either way it was very peaceful and quiet to walk around it.

It's good for a chill day. There are my coffee shops around and the boat tour is a good experience too

A promenade along the Uzuma River, which runs through the middle of Tochigi City, a city of storehouses. Tochigi City prospered during the Edo period due to the shipping links between Nikko to the north and Edo to the south. The landscape has been created to preserve the charm of the past, giving you a sense of romance and elegance. At night, the lanterns make it look even more beautiful. The promenade is for pedestrians only, but some of it is also a road and there is no dividing line, so you need to be careful when walking. There is also a sightseeing boat that lets you look back on the canal while remembering those days. There are also cafes scattered around the area, making it a perfect spot for sightseeing and walking.
