You can see a building that is a reproduction of a house from the Yayoi period. The inside of the store is large, but you can take a shuttle bus back to the parking lot. The entrance fee is cheap, so we recommend checking it out when you're nearby. I went on a weekday, and there were almost no people. It seems like they offer a variety of experiences, so it might be a good idea to go with kids.

An ideal place for you to learn more about Japanese culture. From the architecture of house construction, the management apparatus of ethnic groups, daily life and cultural and religious activities in ancient times. Impressed by the carefully restored and maintained houses and models. Ancient antiques are also preserved and displayed so that everyone can easily see them

There are several observation towers that you can climb. It's fun because you can see the Yoshinogari ruins from a high position. The stairs require physical strength. You can also enter pit dwellings.

Unfortunately, it was raining, but perhaps because of that there weren't many people, so it was nice to be able to tour around the recreated stilt warehouse and the king's house. I thought it would be boring for elementary school students, but they seemed to enjoy going inside the recreated building, seeing the ruins of the coffin, and looking over the whole thing from the observation tower. I wasn't able to do the experience corner due to time constraints, but it seems like children would be interested.
