The view towards Nagahama is wonderful. For more details, please refer to other people's images. However, there is no view on the other side; it is a solid observation deck made of concrete. To access, take the national highway to the east of the observatory (there is a signboard), turn toward Ozu Nagahama Harumi Fureai Park, immediately turn right, and head toward the mountain from the overpass that crosses the national highway. Even if you look at the map on Google, it is difficult to understand, but I don't think you will get lost along the way. We arrived in about 10 minutes, and although it was a holiday evening, I think it's a little-known spot with only a few cars reserved. I went there to kill time before getting to the ferry at Cape Sada, but since it runs a little from the national highway, it was about a 40 minute drive. It might be difficult for people who don't have much time. There is a radiation dosimeter next to the observation deck, so it might be a good opportunity to be aware of nuclear power plants. It's a good spot where you can see Nagahama Ohashi Bridge perfectly.

Unfortunately, the conditions for the Hijikawa storm were not perfect due to the mild winter this year. As an observation deck, you could clearly see far away islands. The parking lot will be beautiful during cherry blossom season, so I would like to enjoy the sea and cherry blossoms during that time. Please be careful when you drive up to the top as it is narrow and there is only parking space for about 2 cars.

What is it? I thought there would be some onlookers. There's no one↘ This morning it had been cold since the day before...I went there hoping to see it. The dam lake in the Shikoku region is in a parched state, so I wonder if it was a small Hijikawa storm? 23.11.23 It's Labor Thanksgiving Day I'm watching the TV morning show...Kyoto city is amazing. I understand the appeal of Kyoto City, but it's cheaper and more appealing from an overseas perspective. I wanted to see Kyoto like that. I want to see a lot of tourists. I want to see Kyoto in its super crowded state. I don't need to go sightseeing. I want to see a lot of people while relaxing in my car.

Hijikawa storms occur near the river mouth every year. You can see the scenery clearly from the observation deck here. By the way, the Hijigawa Storm is a phenomenon in which cold air that has been recharged in the Ozu Basin upstream on a clear sunny morning suddenly flows along the Hijigawa River, accompanied by fog. This is a rare phenomenon worldwide. The strong wind was undulating When it is large-scale, it blows through the Nagahama Ohashi Bridge, which is known as a movable bridge, and reaches several kilometers offshore.
