The only European Style castle here in Japan just located here in Gunma from Numata Station. The entrance is ¥1300 per head. Many tourists and Japanese are coming here and wearing their princess or royal costumes as they took photos of the nice castle. It is so fun for pre wedding photos actually. But you can also bring your kids and family. 💯😍

Real European castle moved from Scotland and rebuilt in this place. Only some rooms are used for exhibition purposes. Its property is big so you can enjoy walk around. There are ducks around a pond. They were very cute and friendly.

It's a theme park located in the mountains. If you're ever in the area, I recommend putting it on your list of destinations.

A unique medieval castle in Japan. Very scenic, picturesque and good for instagram. I really like the view and some old stuff that this castle have. The church, restaurant and blooming flowers are so nice to see. We(family) went there during a good sunny day and it’s our first stop before going to Ikaho Green Bokujo. My daughter was really excited on the way to Lockheart Castle and since she really likes princesses. We opted to have her rent a dress for an hour (her own choice of dress) and be a princess in our eyes. 👍 She really had fun. With regards to amenities. This place have a great restaurants and souvenir shops. Some rooms or area are kinda crowded with too much stuffs though. There is an entrance fee and you can get a coupon through their official web page. Parking space is free. If you visit this place on busy days, I recommend to go there early to avail the parking space in front of main place or else you’ll be redirected to the other parking space that they have. About 600 away I think. With that, plan your travel ahead and enjoy. 😉

Really good place to spend 3-4 hours with family n friends but very expensive to buy any stuff from the shops but if you love antique then it could be worth. Food at patricia restaurant was good with very warm service. Staff all was really supportive with some English speaking ladies as well
