Maybe just your typical shrine, but since this one is related to the hot springs, it may be worthwhile to visit and pray here.

Go up the steep stairs from the side of Taki no Yu. In the precincts, there are volcanic rocks from an ancient eruption. It's beautiful when it's fresh green!

This is a hot spring shrine located in the Naruko Onsen Yumoto area of Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture. It has a history of being called the ``Hot Spring Shrine,'' as it was built in 837 to calm the hot springs that erupted from a large eruption. It is also famous as a shrine related to kokeshi dolls. The National Kokeshi Festival is held during the autumn festival. It is a shrine that prays for the stability of the hot springs and land, and the two deities enshrined here are Ōki no Mikoto and Sukhikona no Mikoto. The best time to see the autumn leaves at Tohoku's most famous spot is around November 3rd to November 5th, 2023, and on November 9th, which is about 5 days later, most of the leaves will fall early and I'd like to come and see them next season. .

It's well managed. The road to the company is long, thick and straight. It was quite a wonderful shrine. The enshrined deity is Aonamuchi no Mikoto. Sukunahikona no Mikoto The stairs are steep so please be careful going up and down. On the way to the temple grounds There are various types of moss growing there. It was so beautiful and cute. For some reason, the guardian dog in the back was waiting for me. It's coming through. It's a strange thing. A lot of cars are parked I had a hard time taking a photo without including it in the photo.

I took a detour and walked up the hill to visit the shrine. Actually, it seems like you can take a shortcut by climbing the stone steps near the public bathhouse. It has a long history of construction and was even mentioned in the Engishiki. The building of the main hall is very interesting.
