Beautiful and peaceful. Just visiting on my way to Nara (exhange train in this station) and was surprised bow peaceful and solemn this shrine is. Get my first goshuin here! When I came here it they also have ShichiGoSan so there’s tiny ladies wearing beautiful kimono all around. Sooo adorable!

This is a representative shrine in Nara. It is close to Kashihara Jingu Station on the Kintetsu Minami-Osaka Line and within walking distance. Surrounded by a park, it is rich in nature and ideal for strolling and jogging. Temples and shrines in Kyoto are nice, but shrines in Nara are also very good for sightseeing.

A grand shrine in Katori. Long pathway up to reach the main building. Very popular among locals and people place order of special prayers one after another in the main building.

Absolutely beautiful. So peaceful today as well. No tourist buses when we went. Everything is so tranquil here. Worth the drive out. Of course you could get a bus as well. Don't miss this one if you are near.
