If you have some extra time at hand you can visit this first winery of Japan. The entry is free however most of the exhibits are in Japanese. It has old equipment and talks about the history wine making in Japan. There is small train and it's coaches as well which was used to transport stuff in the winery. The entry is free. There is shop selling some of the product as well.

A very European wine Company which is walking distance from the Jr station. There's no entrance fee for that. Besides, there's a museum and shop inside there. After the visit, you can enjoy a very nice meal in the wine restaurant... enjoy the beer made by them.

This is the oldest winery in Japan. It has a nice achitectural design. its good to take pictures here and buy some souvenirs in the mini shop. The winery will be closed until 4pm only. This place is so cool.

Popular tourist spot in Ushiku. Accessible by walking from the station - East exit. No too crowded even on a weekend. You can visit the free museum, where you can learn about the history of Japanese wine.
