I went during a typhoon but was still worth getting wet. A very charming and traditional historic street and the business owners and staff were very friendly. Worth a day trip from Nagoya. Definitely look out for the local rice ‘donuts.’

It is an Old Town for Inuyama, if we compare it to the European nations, such as Switzerland. It is a good place to enjoy simple finger bites and other delicacies, while it also has numerous cultural and classic merchandises. There are several public toilets open for the visitors and shoppers and they are free and clean.

I enjoyed strolling much. Shops and restaurants looks old like you are in Edo era.

I was there during Inuyama festival in early April. It was very crowded but I loved the atmosphere of the street. A lot of different and unique food items sold along the way. I found that the shops really made an effort to have their own signature products.
