Fishing is prohibited. Fishing is prohibited in most of the ponds around Kashiba and Mt. Nijo. It would be better to give up on fishing. There is a possibility that you will be reported.

It seems to be mentioned in the Nihon Shoki, but it was a regular reservoir.

15 to 25 minutes walk from the nearest station. There is a long climb along the way. The area around the park is a residential area, go down the hill, and when you see the solar panels on your left, turn right. It can be seen from a grassy park. If the conditions are good, it looks beautiful when viewed as the moon.

I was surprised that such a beautiful view could be found in a residential area. Some places don't have benches, so if you want to relax, it might be a good idea to bring your own seat. Also, there is no parking lot, and since it is a residential area, it is not recommended to go by car, as parking will be a nuisance. If you are driving, you can park at a coin parking lot near Kintetsu Sekiya Station and walk for about 10 minutes. If I recall correctly, there was a signpost that said Kintetsu Nature Trail... Unfortunately, the promenade that is believed to be around Hatao Pond is currently impossible to pass due to overgrowth of trees. I would like you to fix it. In November, the grass on the slope was being burned.

20 to 30 years ago, I used to go fishing with my grandparents. I enjoyed fishing in the morning with the lunch box my grandma had made for me. However, I don't remember catching much. The bait is earthworms caught on the spot and attached to fishing hooks. (I found it as soon as I picked up the stone.) I haven't been there since I became an adult, so I don't know if I can still enjoy fishing there, but I would like to go there again like I used to.
