I came here looking forward to walking around the city. It's not just the Taisho Roman Museum, but the city as a whole that gives you a sense of time slipping. The road is narrow as it is an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings, but there aren't many cars passing by, so it's a good place to walk. The Usukuchi Soy Sauce Museum has an entrance fee of 10 yen, and the townhouse, Rofu Miki's birthplace, etc. are free to enter.I could only stay for 2 hours this time, so I couldn't visit everything.Parking lot There is also a municipal parking lot, and there is also a soy sauce museum etc. It seems that the Autumn Festival will be held in this area on Saturday, November 25th and Sunday, November 26th, 2023, so why not go out and see it?

It was a renovated structure that used to be the former Tatsuno Soy Sauce Industry Association office. It seems like they are not only preserving it as a valuable historical relic, but also renting it out as a meeting room. The new building next door also has a locally produced antenna shop, cafe, and terrace.

I visited Tatsuno Castle while walking around the castle town. The tables on the terrace and deck can be used freely. I bought a double soft serve ice cream with soy sauce and vanilla at Kuraterasu (store and cafe) and took a break with my wife. Double soft is recommended. The flavor of soy sauce and the sweetness of vanilla are a perfect match. I forgot to take a photo, so it turned out to be a soft serve ice cream with no top. Of course, I also bought a lot of souvenirs such as moromi, soy sauce kintsuba, and somen noodles. I would like to go again.
