It is a beautiful pond full of water lilies! I also had nice chats with some of the people taking photographs there. When walking back to Tsuchiyuonsen during summer, I encountered a bear so please be cautious!

As we climbed up the hill, we found Shonanko Biopark on the old road. It looks foggy and nice. It is a lake in a rural village where clumps of water lilies and various kinds of dragonflies fly around, reminiscent of the paintings of the French painter Monet. This lake was a natural skating rink until the early 1960s, but due to global warming it became difficult to freeze, and it was left alone for many years. Nearly 500 colorful water lilies will continue to bloom from mid-June to early September. Next time I want to come when the water lilies are blooming. I came here when the water lilies were blooming. I will be visiting again in July 2023. The water lilies were beautiful again this year. I will be visiting again in 2024. It seems that the grandfather of a roadie I met built Fukushima's first skating rink here. I was able to meet some very rare people. It was a hot, sunny day, but there was a light breeze, the shade of the trees was cool, and I could hear the constant sound of birds. There were many small fish swimming in the water, and it reminded me of playing in the stream when I was a child. It was like I had initialized my lungs and mind in the mountains.

Although it is a small swamp, several cars can be parked here. There are paths around it, so you can walk around looking for photo spots. The water lilies of various colors were blooming beautifully and it was wonderful. The surrounding area was very quiet in the forest.
