There is a dedicated parking lot. The road is hard to find, but I'm sure you'll find a sign as you get closer. It's only a few minutes walk from the parking lot, but in the past, the back of the field was empty, giving a view of the majestic land of Hokkaido, but I was disappointed that there were so many solar panels in the field that I couldn't see such a view anymore. Previously, Chinatsu Wakatsuki (mother) on local television said that ``Ponpon Mountain'' doesn't make any popping sounds, but I could hear the popping sounds. I can feel the echoes in my feet as if there is a cavity underground. There is a rocky area at the back of the mountain, and the scenery is wide and beautiful, but if you slip, it can lead to serious injury, so please be careful when looking at the scenery from the mountain.

If you go down the side road of the shrine, you will find Mt. Ponpon. Since it has been chosen as one of the eight scenic spots, I wish they would put a little more effort into maintaining it. It was interesting to climb up while stomping my feet, and there were parts where the sound changed along the way. Although the scenery is not very good due to the overgrowth, I think it is best to go to see it with an open mind. If you are interested, please check out the parking lot, which is only a few minutes walk away.

Takatsuki in Osaka is famous for ``Mount Ponpon'', and this place also has the same origin. It is a scenic spot overlooking the wide plains of the Arakawa basin. I don't know if the huge rock behind the shrine is Iwaza. All I can say is that no matter how many times I jumped, it never popped.

I thought the name Mt. Pon Pon was interesting, so I went there. I went from Lake Hatcho, and it took about 10 minutes by car to arrive at the parking lot of Ponponyama Park. From the parking lot above, you can reach Takane Hikone Shrine in about 2 minutes on foot. I later learned that there is a dedicated gravel parking lot under Mt. Pom Pom. Mt. Ponpon is located behind Takanesu Hikone Shrine, and you can reach the top of Mt. Ponpon by climbing 5 meters. When you climb Mt. Pom Pom, you will see that it is a fairly large rocky mountain. And the scenery suddenly opens up. When I looked down from the tip of the rocky mountain, it was scary because it was a cliff. Be careful as the rocks can be slippery in some places. I was told that there was a place where you could hear pop-poms, but the scenery was so good that I forgot about it.

There was no one there on Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, I didn't hear any popping sounds. You can hear a dull sound that suggests there is a cavity, but you can't tell unless you're conscious of it. In winter, the view is great and the lowlands are wide open. I often wonder if there are any rocks left in places like this.
