As I was walking along Megane Bridge for a morning stroll, Fukuro Bridge is located just downstream of Megane Bridge. This is also a wonderful stone bridge. There are several stone bridges in the area. It's a nice place!

Bridge with beautiful double arch architecture. It's worth the detour if you're walking through Chinatown.

2023.04. A stone bridge that spans one downstream of Megane Bridge. Although it is plain, it has a taste. Meganebashi Bridge can be seen beautifully from the top of the bridge.

Megane Bridge is not the only wonderful bridge on Nagasaki's canal, Nakashima River, that is a tourist attraction. There are a series of spectacular arch bridges in the Meganebashi area, which is a sight to behold. Fukuro Bridge is also a series of arch bridges, but since most people just use it to take pictures of Megane Bridge, I wish it would get more attention. When I visited, there were lanterns hanging along the river, and it was bright even at night, so I bought some alcohol and snacks at a nearby convenience store, sat on a bench between Megane Bridge and Fukuro Bridge, and enjoyed both. We were able to enjoy the wonderful scenery of the bridge. It's really amazing, isn't it? I'm really jealous of Nagasaki. This area is the setting for the anime ``Colorful World from Tomorrow'', and in episode 9, Sho and Hitomi have a photo session in Nagasaki City to improve their camera skills. I think people always take pictures of Fukuro Bridge, and I think they also take pictures from Fukuro Bridge. Although it is not included in the main story, it is a place where you can feel the trajectory of their journey from an otaku perspective.
