Family-owned place. ¥500 is worth it. Nice people and relaxing place. Has a nice garden you can sit after exploring the cave, smoking section/food area. The snack that the owner gave was delicious. If you go to Gujo or Gero you can stop by for a while. Cave is not difficult to explore, kid-friendly, and clean. You can drink the water inside the cave they provide hishaku. There are bats but they’re sleeping and not flying around when I went there. Firefly (Hotaru) viewing - the perfect summer activity can be enjoyed at the nearby river for 3 weeks from June until July.

Visited in August 2024 During my Obon holiday trip, I visited this place along with the nearby Gujo Hachiman Miyama Limestone Cave. There may be people who visit the above-mentioned "Miyama Limestone Cave" but pass by this "Gujo Limestone Cave" without seeing it, but they are definitely missing out. This "Gujo Limestone Cave" is recommended. I think limestone caves and water are inseparable, and you can walk through this limestone cave while looking at the abundant water flowing by the side of the path, making it a very atmospheric and cool limestone cave. Also, there were trout swimming in the pond next to the entrance, made from water flowing out of the limestone cave, and just looking at them was relaxing, and we were able to feed them for free. At the time of my visit, the seasonal plum blossom algae was blooming, and I felt like I had killed three birds with one stone even though I had only come to see the limestone caves. The parking lot is on the opposite side of the road, and although there are no particular lines, I think it could accommodate about 10 cars. Admission fee: 500 yen for adults

I went there during the Obon holidays. First of all, there was a cool breeze coming in from the entrance, and when I entered, it was so cold that it was chilly. Is there beautiful spring water inside? is flowing and there are places where you can drink. I recommend going in midsummer as it really cools down. If it's crowded, you may have to wait because the parking lot isn't very spacious.
