Small formal japanese garden and traditional house. The site is only about a half an acre but it's close to the sumo shrine and it only costs ¥100. You can feed the huge koi in the pond as well. Fire ¥500 you can also enjoy matcha tea or iced coffee in the tatami room looking over the garden.

it's a small japanese garden with small koi ponds. we walked longer from subway station to arrive to this garden compare to the time we spent in here ☺️. i think we should take bus🤔. we need to pay admission ticket to enter. but here also have a tea house if you want to learn the japanese tea ritual. quite nice place to relax although honestly if you stat far from here, it's not so special

Just curious to see a Japanese garden. It's quite small but I enjoyed the calmness of the place. There's an entrance fee of ¥100 to enter the garden, and a different fee for the tea... I think it's prettier too during spring and autumn (came here on a winter season).

Lovely chilled place in the city to slow down on a Saturday Morning and enjoy a matcha. 100 entry, 500 for matcha tea and 100 if you want fish food for the carp. Small garden with ponds, waterfall and trees, relaxing lots of benches and shade. Near Hakata station.
