Very nice location for sunrise.

First visit on May 11, 2024 I am a citizen of Chiba Prefecture who is hungry for mountain scenery and hot springs. I stayed one night at the guesthouse Meiwaso near Amaharashi Marina, and went for an early morning walk in time for sunrise. Amaharashi Coast is a scenic spot designated as a quasi-national park, and it is said that Otomo Yakamochi, one of the 36 poets, loved it so much that he wrote many poems about it. Even in mid-May, there was still snow on the top of the Tateyama mountain range, and I was captivated by how beautiful it was. Sunrise was around 4:45. In winter, the sun rises over the Tateyama mountain range, which is a series of 3,000m-class mountains, so the sun rises a little later than the sunrise time.

A beautiful walk to take along the sea in Toyama Bay. In good weather you can see the Noto Peninsula on one side and the famous Japanese Alps on the other We stop in the small station for at least an hour to admire this landscape

It's a traffic jam on weekends. There is not enough parking space. Since it was a motorcycle, I parked it on the sidewalk and took a quick photo. There are also many train photographers. The photo was taken with a 200mm zoom.
