Kubota Castle Ruins

It was a pity that when we visited the castle, it’s a cloudy and rainy and therefore, everywhere was dark. But looking at the snow scene, it looked really nice. After visiting multiple castles here in Japan in the past, the size of this paled in comparison. It’s not a big one and inside, there was only a few levels available to visitors. The top level was a good place to have a birds eye’s view of the entire region. We were the only people there when we visited. Parking facilities were a bit of a walk though.

It's highest place on 千秋公園 and can get great overviews around Akira city, inside this building is a lot of thing in Edo period.

Everytime when I travel akita. I will come here. Few tourists. You can relax there. Take a lot of photos without other people. It is very near akita train station. Walking less than 10 minutes. #akita #japan
