There are various shops and a nice atmosphere, and you can feel that they are working hard to revitalize the town. It's an event called Ice Street, and each store makes its own ice cream, but it didn't seem to be of very high quality. (I'm sorry to say this, but it felt more like a rush than an elaborate attempt.) As for souvenirs, there weren't many options other than Nang Nang Manju, which was a bit of a problem. Also, there aren't many buses going to Kaga Onsen Station, so if you're not traveling by private car, you won't be able to relax very much. However, Kiku no Yu and the surrounding area were very beautiful.

It is a town where time passed during the Showa era. The popular butcher shop's croquettes were so popular that I gave up on them (lol) There is a soba restaurant a little inside from the street. It was very delicious.

It's a calm, beautiful, and atmospheric city. I highly recommend it to anyone who is traveling to Ishikawa. Parking is free. (Personally, I definitely recommend this place over Higashi Chayamachi in Kanazawa. Kanazawa is completely focused on inbound prices/products aimed at overseas tourists. In many ways, it was like Kyoto.) There are two shops that I particularly recommend. The first one is Katsuhiro Tada, a lacquer craftsman who works on pottery/lacquerware. (In Kanazawa, things that are sold to tourists at two to three times the price are sold at reasonable prices.) The second one is Amu, a stylish Ishikawa sweets/miscellaneous goods store. (There are many stylish souvenirs that are only sold here. I regret that I should have bought more.) Donation boxes for the Noto Peninsula Earthquake have been set up at both locations, and in addition to the Noto Peninsula, they are also supporting Kutani ware, which suffered major damage.
