Shirogane Park

this tiny park on ginzan onsen is a great spot to take a morning stroll to enjoy some fresh air and just to relax. there's an old silver mine which you could explore and the waterfall nearby is also a great place to take photos and just chill.

I only knew I was here on December 23, 2019 as I took this photo. I was waiting outside a toilet and saw a bit of the mine ruins. I must have missed something and should come again.

Gorgeous little park...the waterfall is just a stone throw away

(Visited at the end of December 2023) It is a bit difficult to reach (Nemoto Falls on the way) due to snow, and it feels very easy to fall. Be careful if your visibility is poor at night. If you want to see the waterfall from the front, you have to step on the rocks to the other side, which is a bit dangerous. You can just look at it in the small open space on the left. It should be possible to climb further in the summer, but in the winter the road disappears. There is also a tunnel to see (very short)
