Things of the glamour of Kinkakuhachiman-gu Shrine

①Another “Kinkaku” near “Kinkaku-ji”(History)

Kinkakuhachiman-gu Shrine is a small shrine that faces Nishi-Oji street about 100m south of “Wara tenjin Shrien” and 150m north of “Hirano shrine”. The alias is called “Ogitayama Hachimangu”. It was founded from Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrien in Hachiman City, Kyoto Prefecture with the spirit of the Emperor Oji. And this shrine is revered as the the ancestor of Buddhism and the guardian deity of the breeding industry. Also this shrien has been worshiped as a god of longevity. This shrine is small shrine that doen’t have any particular features, so if you walk on Nishi-oji Street where you have a lot of traffic, you might pass by almost without notice. But it is cleaned and kept beautiful. There is a big holly in the precincts. This holly is called “Golden holly” at the shrine. It is also called “Lucky charm”.

My recommendation

There are many restaurant around “Kinkakuhachiman-gu Shrien”.

◎Cafe ➡ Tentation d’ Ange

◎Suhi➡Hama Sushi

◎Washoku(Japanese restraint)➡Washoku NOW JOY

◎Yakiniku(Japanese version of Korean BBQ)➡ Gyukaku

◎Burger shop➡McDonalds

Cafe “Tentation d’ Ange” is my favorite cake shop. This shop doesn’t have Japanese traditional sweet. But you can eat delicious cakes. You can break with cakes and coffee inside or you can take away.
